Littlehaulic, who is, I gather, Legohaulic's kid, has been constructing some rooms at approximately miniland scale.

Cypress Gardens, er, Legoland Florida
According to Kristi Klein, Legoland Model Designer and blogger at Brick Star, they are hard at work building models for the next American Legoland, on the site of the former theme park Cypress Gardens, about 40 minutes from DisneyWorld.
Unfortunately she is unable to show pictures of the WIP, but a model of the White House, complete with the Obama family, was on display at a recent preview for the local community. Kristi points out that this can be found on BrickPal, a blog devoted to the future park.

Classic Space
Okay, Technic figs aren't exactly the same as Miniland, but the scale is pretty close, and Barman's Lego Classic Technic Space is just too cool to pass by.

Jose Rizal
From Leo-J: "Jose Rizal was arrested on false charges that he was the leader of the Philippine Revolution that was launched against Spain. He was convicted of insurrection under a mock trial. He was executed by firing squad at Bagumbayan in December 30, 1896."

LEGO NYC
The newest LEGO Store just opened in Rockefeller Plaza in downtown New York. While most LEGO stores tend to have the same miniland-scale models on display, in addition to assembled sets, this store has a number of New York themed creations at a variety of scales - large sculptures, miniland characters, minifig scale scenes, and even microscale. Here we see a NY firefighter, the Rockettes, a horse and carriage, and pigeons in Central Park.
